On July 7, 2026, the Faculty of Traditional Thai Medicine (PSU) proudly welcomed a delegation of undergraduate and graduate students from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Miyazaki, Japan. The visit aimed to foster academic exchange and provide profound insights into the specialized applications of Traditional Thai Medicine (TTMed) in maternal health.During the official visit, the delegation engaged in an intensive study program focused on the holistic management of pregnant women and postpartum care through traditional Thai medicinal practices.This allowed the delegation to observe the practical implementation of traditional therapies within a modern clinical setting, witnessing firsthand how TTMed can be integrated to complement conventional medical care to enhance patient outcomes in maternal healthcare.

This exchange not only strengthens the academic ties but also promotes a deeper global understanding of how traditional wisdom can contribute to modern maternal and neonatal wellness.This visit marks another significant milestone in the ongoing commitment of Prince of Songkla University to international academic collaboration and the promotion of Traditional Thai Medicine on a global scale.
