The Faculty of Traditional Thai Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, jointly organized a welcoming activity for students from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) participating in the PSU-AUN Summer Camp 2026 under the theme “Taste of Southern Thailand — Connecting Cultures through Gastronomy” on Friday, 8 May 2026.

On this occasion, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sathianpong Phoopha, together with faculty members, warmly welcomed the participants and conducted a series of cultural and educational activities highlighting the wisdom of Traditional Thai Medicine. The program featured a lecture on “Food as Herbal Medicine,” introducing the concept of using food for health promotion and wellness according to Traditional Thai Medicine principles.

In addition, participants enjoyed hands-on workshops on basic Thai massage techniques and RueSi Dat Ton (Traditional Thai stretching exercises), which provided students with valuable experiences in Thai healthcare wisdom and cultural practices.

The activities received enthusiastic participation and great interest from the international students. The program not only promoted cultural exchange and mutual understanding among participants but also strengthened international collaboration and friendship in a warm and engaging atmosphere.
